From Bagel-boy to Grill-guy
In case you’re wondering, OFFERDAHL’S OFF-THE-GRILL is the creation of John & Lynn Offerdahl, a husband and wife team who started a tiny bagel shop serving oversized, fresh-baked bagels. The first Offerdahl’s Bagel Gourmet shop opened in Weston, Florida in 1990 during the heyday of John’s All-Pro football career as a Miami Dolphin middle linebacker and grew to 10 stores before he retired from both football and bagels in 1995.

In 2000, John & Lynn decided to open a new and improved version of Offerdahl’s by expanding the menu and developing a new concept in fast-casual dining — OFFERDAHL’S OFF-THE-GRILL!

One thing that sets OFFERDAHL’S apart from other fast-casual restaurants is our Specialty Grill that features proteins like seasoned steaks, marinated chicken, wild-caught sustainable salmon and premium sirloin burgers. All of our grilled proteins top-off Greens, Grains and Sandwiches complemented by our homemade dressings & sauces.
